The Ramblers Women Football Club was founded in 2019 with the main objective of promoting development for women in and through football.  That is, targeted development for women in a sports code  that is to a large degree, male dominated and using football as a platform to expose women to spin off opportunities for personal, educational and professional development, opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise be exposed to.

The club caters for girls/women between the ages of 14-28 and is in the process of starting a division for girls between the ages of 6-14. We currently have 29 players on our squad list. 

The Ramblers Women’s will debut in the Women’s Super League (WSL) for the first time in 2022. The team serves as the final step for players from different schools and academies to play football at the highest level in the country. Since the formation of the team, Ramblers have produced 9 players who have represented Namibia U17, U20 and Senior Women’s Teams in different competitions such as COSAFA CUP and World Cup Qualifiers.
